A brief intro. I'm a complete newb to model trains but have been fascinated since I was a child. When I was in 2nd grade, a very generous neighbor gave me a fully built set when he started building a much bigger layout. Unfortunately, I had to give it away when we moved a year later and didn't have the space.
Fast forward to parenthood! My youngest daughter is fascinated with trains, so I picked up a Bachmann starter set, which she loves. I can see that we're going to outgrow e-z track very quickly. LOL. I have many questions about tracks and will post a question in the appropriate forum.
Other hobbies include mountain biking, photography and cars. Hope to see everyone online, and thanks for all the helpful info!
