My first paint booth

I started construction on my paint booth yesterday. I was going to make it out of wood but yesterday I noticed I had a plastic storage bin I wasn't using so decided to try and use it. When I moved my layout to the basement years ago I installed a PVC pipe around the room that is attached to a wet/dry shop vac located in a structure outside the house. I use it to clean the place up but it's also going to be the exhaust for the paint booth. When I'm painting I'll tap in to the PVC line when not I'll move it to a storage room. I'm going to try it out tomorrow we'll see what happens?

I would suggest having the exhaust high (i.e. turn it up the other way) so it's not directly behind what you're spraying. You might find more paint going out the exit than getting on the model as shown.

George, place an old furnace filter in the back of your box. It'll catch any wet paint headed towards the exhaust.
