Multiple Scales on One DC Power Cab?

Would it be possible to run multiple scales of locos off of a single power cab?

I’ve got my old O Scale Lionel running around the Christmas tree. Could I run an HO scale train off of the same cab? And possibly an N scale train, too?

Or would I be better off just running each off of its own power source?

I believe no, since the Lionel likely runs on AC current while HO and N scale run on DC current.

the N and Ho can use the same controller as long as they both have a decoder installed. Don’t know about the O Scale, as Greg stated if it’s a different current then no. Before switching scales I ran both from my ProCab.

No, As the others have said the Lionel will need an AC power transformer type control, while the HO and N scale need a DC power pack, or DCC controller. Running HO and N from the same unit is no problem. I've run both HO and N from the same power supplies for decades.
