Well, the weekly thread has been kind of dying out lately. I guess it kind of makes sense with the change in seasons.

Anyway, how about trying out a monthly thread?

I finally tried my hand at weathering. I don't think it came out too bad. What do you all think?

Looks a little better in real life, I think, but it's a start.

Not too bad for a start. However I learned some time ago that it is more realistic to work from a picture of the real thing. Here's the closest that I could find.

It would be an Ivey of some sort, I don't think Kudzu grows up here? (Manitoba)
From what I've heard that stuff grows like crazy and can cover a building and pry bricks from the wall!
