Model Power N 2-6-0 spins when loaded lightly

Any way to improve the pulling capability of my 2-6-0? Slips with a light load.

What do you consider a light load? And are the freight and/or passenger cars very free-wheeling, or not? For that matter, are the tender and loco pilot wheels free-rolling also? Is the track flat and level, or on grades? Is your track clean and grease/oil free?
Maybe post us a picture of the cars and the trucks/wheels they are riding on. Could use some more info to help diagnose the problem.
 
You may want to oil your rolling stock wheels where they come in contact with the trucks.
Also, you may want to find traction tires and put them on the loco, but i agree with Mixed Freight, you should check all those things :)
 
I'm not familiar with the MP Mogul, but what about removing the shell and adding extra weight in area somewhere above drivers ?
