Masking Locomotive Windows

I'm looking for suggestions for methods to mask off locomotive windows and windshields when painting and weathering.

I've used parafilm-M for a lot of applications. Stretch it, put it in place, and then trim around the windows.

I am using tamiya yellow tape here or the 3m equivalent (again yellow).
