Tom, if it makes you feel any better, I just had to send a new TCS CN decoder back after I released the magic smoke.

I managed to let the magic smoke out during my second Tsunami install. Luckily I was still under the 90 day "we'll replace it even if you blow it up" policy. I think I had a bad speaker, but I'm not sure. The second attempt with a new speaker worked just fine.

I don't allow smoking of any type in railroad layout room. But, I have a few of the decoders with burned holes in the plastic covers as well.

Don’t know what happened really, just that they all have no smoke left.
