LED strip lighting for elevated shelf layout?

Hi all! It's been a long time and in that time I finally built a layout & found space in my space challenged house, up! 7 feet up to be exact!
As you can see from the video it's a bit dark if I don't point the fish eye lights at the track. I was thinking of installing LED strip lighting down the siding & crossovers. It makes sense since I have only 6 to 7 inches of room between the ceiling & track. I was thinking of 2700k temp color. Thoughts? Much appreciated!

Have a look at these LED lighting fixtures,....good lighting, inexpensive, durable, light weight, linkable, easy to mount....

I installed them over my staging track that extends below the main layout level. Always had trouble seeing what was on the tracks back there or even if the last car was near the end of the track. Now, its well lit.
