Kato Locomtives

I would definately recommend going with a Kato Locomotive because they are very reliable, and provide excellent pulling power and detail. The only downside is that the parts (handrails, grabs, etc.) are not factory installed unless you buy that new "KOBO" version ($$$). So if you have patience with small parts (the details aren't too hard to install but could provide a challenge for someone new to the hobby), then I would say definately give a Kato Locomotive a chance.

By the way.... Cjcrescent (Carey) do you provide services on the rebuilds/rebuilds on units like Athearns units etc (you mentioned on 1 of your posts that you held a clinic doing that type of work right?) that includes installing DCC? I got a friend that lives in Birmingham that needs help on that stuff.;)
