Hello fellow model railroading enthusiasts!

I'm excited to share with you a project that's been in the making – a modular N-scale road system that aims to bring an unprecedented level of detail and realism to your layouts. We're currently in the development phase and are seeking feedback and ideas from the community.

🛣️ About the Road System:

  • Scale and Detail: Our system is designed in N scale, with attention to detail to ensure realistic urban and rural road environments.
  • Modularity: The system includes various components like straight roads, intersections, and curved sections, all designed to fit together seamlessly.
  • Compatibility: We're integrating features such as a 0.5mm slot beneath the road surface for metal guide wires, making it compatible with systems like Faller's and Tomytec's.
🚀 We Need Your Insight!

  • What are your thoughts on the design and functionality?
  • Are there specific elements or features you would like to see in such a system?
  • How do you envision integrating this system into your current layouts?
💡 Check Out the Mock-Ups:

We have some initial mock-up images that you can view here: . These are early designs, and we're open to modifications based on your feedback.

This project is all about creating something that truly resonates with the model railroading community. Your input is invaluable in shaping the final product. Please share your thoughts, ideas, and any suggestions you have!

Looking forward to an engaging discussion!

It's an interesting concept. Thanks for sharing.

My initial thought and constructive criticism is that it may be challenging to incorporate satisfying grade transitions with a rigid tile system. Perhaps consider creating some grade transition tiles? Additionally, transition tiles from urban streets with sidewalks to more free-form rural roads would add versatility to the tile system.

Good luck and thanks again for sharing.
