I would like to know more about this gold Monon train. Please help!

I am now in the ownership of this set of three Monon trains that I know nothing about. They have passed hands a few times and although most of the trains I've researched generally bring in results I cannot find anything about this set which only intrigues me more. They fit on an N scale track. Please share any information or insight you have.

Can you say a little more about the questions you have? I'm not an expert on these older N scale F units. I say older because of the large opening around the front coupler. That Monon Railroad livery is somewhat rare and may be a custom paint job. Do you see any manufacturer names on the bottom? My first guess is they are Bachmann or Lifelike but I'm not sure. Do they run well? Are you going to sell them?
