Hi There!!

My name is Cory and I have finally joined after some nagging from my partner in crime (Mitch AKA SunsetLimited)

I am an avid train lover, and collect & model N Scale based around the mid to late 1950's midwest America.

My railroads include AT&SF, N&W, UP, CB&Q & SP

I currently am in the process of constructing my HCD Layout, however it has stalled temporarily due to other issues.

I look forward to chatting with everyone on here!!!

Welcome aboard Cory. Your era is a bit earlier than mine, but I do model and collect ATSF, mid 70's to demise. Check out the Coffee Shop here for some non-railroad banter and lots of railroad talk as well.

Hi Willie,

Thanks for the warm welcome! Will definitely check out the Coffee Shop when I get a chance.

I love the ATSF, and am contemplating running up a second layout so I can run some of the Kodachrome liveried ATSF & SP units, plus I also wouldn't mind some of those Dash-8's and GP60's that are from the later years!

Good day Mate!

I'm not an Aussie, but my great friend Rodney is and he is wearing off on me.

I'm glad to see you and thanks for the pictures, we love pictures.

Don't worry how fast you get your layout done, just have fun with your hobby.

My layouts are only temporary until my Wife and I find the perfect house with a big basement for my trains and other toys. It has not stopped me from having fun in the mean time!

Welcome to the forums Cory (Mitch's partner in crime). I guess there isn't anything that can be said that Mitch hasn't already told you about this place so I'll eave it at Welcome and look forward to seeing your layout come together. As Louis wisely stated, it doesn't matter how long it takes you guys to build your layout - it is the build and the enjoyment you get from it that counts.

Hi Cory, glad to have you here! If I would have read this thread first I wouldn't have had to ask on the other one!
