Have You Heard Of 3DK?

I have just discovered a wonderful new range of card kits. I know what you will be thinking but it's true! They are as detailed as any kit I have seen and they are half the price!

They have a range of o gauge and Ho kits available. I ordered the british o gauge medium brick station at was delighted with it. Very easy to construct and came with lots of extras! Put it on my layout and have decided that I need to replace all my buildings now (they just don't look real anymore!)

Check out this article on Squidoo about their products. http://www.squidoo.com/3DK

They have their own website at http://www.3dk.org.uk Lots of great photos and price lists.

Would love to hear from anyone else who has heard of these kits and what they think?

I must be missing the HO/OO scale kits on their site. In addition, assuming my conversion of pounds to dollars is right, the prices are very expensive, more than many styrene kits that are easier to build and at least as realistic. While their O scale building look good, I don't know how cardstock construction can compete with styrene kits unless the costs are at least comparable.

Card stock with resin castings? This does not sound the recipe for success to me. It's already past December 8 with no listing of products or prices. Sorry, but this sounds like a one man band who's bitten off more than he can chew.

I've been thinking that myself for the past while but I left it because of the download links. First thing came to mind was cheap advertising, but then again it related to model rail so I decided to let it run it's course. Not too much of a discussion though.

Cheers
Willis
