Been long time fan of model trains. Grew up with them and now wanting to get my son involved. Dad has Lionel trains from the early 50's but I want something smaller. HO or N. Was leaning towards HO but due to space gonna go into N. Done a lot of research and gone to a couple train shows/hobby stores asking questions. Plan on running the JMRI with Digitrax hardware. Hope to get some info here on this board.

This is a pretty good place. And if you're looking for volume of trains and tracks and stuff then N scale is a good choice. You can fit a lot of railroading into a fairly small area.
