Coal flood loader

I want to add a western style flood loader to my coal mine operations. I have some room on the mine entry lead tracks. The problem is the Walthers kit is not available anymore, and I can't even find any on ebay. Well, I just happen to have an un-built kit for my Ethanol Plant. The corn storage silos. So I decided to use one of the silos from it. I'll get another one of those kits, as they are still available.

The conveyor will simulate going underground from the mine to the flood loader. They still have the modern conveyor kit available, so I just ordered one (should have it later this week).

The prototype for this is the Empire Mine in Colorado.

I completed the silo last night. Still need to add rooftop details, stairs, etc.

Well I finally finished the flood loader and coal conveyor. The conveyor goes underground from the mine to the flood loader.

And I ballasted the 3 coal mine tracks.

That looks good. I made one from a 6" piece of pipe. I never did get the ladder up the side done.
