Cletrac Dozer with Nelson Coal Screw Conveyer.

I decided I wanted a conveyer at Conway Coal that no one else had. I found the 1950 patent from B.B. Nelson for the Coal Screw Conveyer that went on a dozer. I Used my old Tyco I believe dozer and made it look like a Cletrac dozer from the 1930’s.
Items used for build.
Tyco dozer, styrene tube, straw, birch coffee stirrer, metal wire, wood glue, superglue, plastic glue, file folder for screw, model master paints, chalks’ and AutoCAD to develop spiral for screw.

After that it was just working at it bit by bit until it was done.

Great job on your conveyor.

I questioned calling it a Cletrak, but after looking at some photos, I think you nailed it!!

Lasm,
I here ya, I looked on the web and tried to figure out what brand represented the look of the casting. The orange looks like your greenish color. I took the liberty to go with the grey and red that I had seen on other dozers from Cletrac in the 30's. I will probably add an orange one in the yard just because.
