Question...
Im wiring my turnouts. just wired a crossover using an atlas 83 snap switch left and a right. hooked it up by wiring the reds to the reds, greens to greens, and black to black and then the black to the common ac terminal strip i have under my layout. also hooked the green and red to the switch machine.
when i push the switch, they are not lining up for a proper crossover. now ive read the books and instructions and they say to change the n and the r around on the switch machine. i did that and no change. these are using the remote machine that have the wire connections on the inside (kind of prewired to the machine) and arent easily acceptable.
i tried to move the turnouts manually to match the proper alignment, but pushing the button just realigns it improperly.
any ideas???
