Accurail's 36 foot Fowler Wood Box car.


Mark - I don't remember exactly which manufacture the metal tread comes "coated", but when I return I do a photo of a wheel set both new and after being in service for a while. It might retrurn to me if I think about it. It's been 7 or more years since I purchased them.

It really doesn't bother me much.

I've completed my second 36 foot Fowler wood Box Car by Accurail. It just so happens that this is the Grand Trunk car shown in my Post # 4 on page 1. of this thread. Again, I want to express my enjoyment in building them and I especially want to give a thumbs-up to Accurail for making these cars available. The undersides of the cars are a work of art and very similar to the Old Red Caboose, Intermountain and Life Like Proto 2000 kits that used to be available! It does my heart good to know that a manufacturer has my interests at heart, by providing these wonderfully detailed kits!

You guys who like your cars ready built can have all of them. Without my enjoyment of building kits, I would likely not be in this hobby!!!
