5 model railroad things we can do TODAY

Good video and I'll take that advise to my layout room. What I should do.....

I have eight A Line boxes of locomotives and rolling stock that are not in any particular order and one box may have rolling stock mixed with locomotives. I have to organize the contents of these storage boxes as well plastic storage containers that have equippment store in them as well. Maybe I'll number the boxes and and have another inventory spreadsheet for each storage container.

I done an inventory of my locomotives and most rolling stock. I would like to spot check the accuracy of all my locomotives listed on the Excel spreadsheets. I started the spreadsheet after I purchase a C&NW locomotive #1663 at a swap meet only to bring it home and there on the layout was another #1663 locomotive.

Yes....... and finish the kits I purchased before I retired almost eight years ago. I won a nice jack pot at a casino and I immediately then when to a hobby shop and told the owner I want every Milwaukee and SOO Line kit he had in stock. I receieved a Christmas card from the hobby shop owner that year.

Organize my detailing parts.

Run some locomotives that I haven't used in months or even years.

My 1:1 workshop really needs attention too!

I better get going I only have three weeks to work on these projects.

The way things are going. I've spent more time today counting how much money I had in the bank then engines I owned but that's just me. I'll get around to counting my cars and engines another day.

I'm doing that now, painting, decaling, weathering. I have a box of stuff I'm going to sell once I finish inventory. As for the buildings I have to really be in the mood, not my favorite or strong point in the hobby.
