That BB has a S-load of small piping all over it. Its amazing to see. I've been studying the approaches they used in designing them and the challengers. Lots different than C&O or N&W. Still, the Y5's and Y6b are my favorites. They all had about 16 tons of lead added to the front frames after they added those manual booster valves, to reduce front engine slippage. The DVD's "Pillars of Smoke in the Sky" and "Hooters on Blue Ridge" have lots of Y's in action.
