I’m an avid HO guy but came across this little set I bought many years ago. Really pretty. I think it’s Z. Does anyone know anything about it thanks.
Thanks. Bought it years ago for my son. Not cheap. Made in Japan as I recall.I’m an avid HO guy but came across this little set I bought many years ago. Really pretty. I think it’s Z. Does anyone know anything about it thanks.
Just so you know, the track used on those layouts is a really cheap knockoff of the Marklin track. While it looks good, I don't know how well trains would run on it, or how readily available replacement track is. You'd probably get tired of the train running around in circles pretty quickly.I'm HO all the way too. But I keep running across Franklin Mint Z scale layouts inspired by Norman Rockwell paintings (winter and summer layout themes). They look like they would be perfect to build a coffee table around. The winter one shown is currently on Facebook Marketplace for $800 in Michigan. Kind of tempting. View attachment 184273View attachment 184272
