What A Difference A Bath Makes!

Hey, yesterday I removed the 4 axles (8 wheels) from my O-Scale 2-Rail Atlas GP35, then cleaned them in a bath of denatured alcohol, using a stiff fiber brush.

What a difference that made in the operation; no more hesitations and short stalls and startups, just a smooth, continuous ride around my 127-foot folded dogbone!

Probably would not hurt to clean out and re-lube the gears too?
I have no idea of how it's put together, but sounds good - on my part? lol

's'all right Hal, I haven't had a bath in years. Some have tried to take me for one. Some email me and suggest we take one together, but I know that would involve the second option mostly. Otherwise I'll just keep on showering.
