Thanks, that was a kit, but sorry can't remember where I got it from. I know there was other crates in that kit and it was a laser kit.

Well, I finally got this finished... at least for now!
I removed most of the 'rust' I had on there. I gave it a good fade using a 50/50 mix of Testors Model Master Lt. Ghost Gray acrylic and a diluted isopropyl alcohol solution. This car has been in service for 22 years at the time of my layout, and it desperately needs a repaint! I also gave the sides and ends a dusting of black weathering powder made form soft pastels. It looks well used, but not ready for the scrappers torch. The wheelset have recently been replaced, so they still look pretty new.
It's already back on the layout.

It looks like a typical Maintenance workshop car. A long time since it had brand advertising potential.
