    Thanks for the valuable advice, guys ! :). I do imagine that the things I will be able to put on my 1 m / 1.6 meters will be very few, but I still want to give it a try :D. I'll keep you updated on my progress.

    Hi, I'm just starting my layout here. I have in mind a modular layout, so that I can move it easily around. What is the most used standard for modular layout in N gauge ? I've found the NEM standards (http://www.morop.org) but unfortunately only for HO, and not N . And also FREMO : 87...

    Yes, I've tried Google Earth...only that I can't find a way to get the elevation (height) of a place :(.
