    Air Hoses on unused cars.

    Thanks guys! Very interesting stuff. I thought it was unusual that some hoses were hooked up and some weren't. Another thing I was wondering was if you may know what the abbreviation DESS means on a COTS stencil? Thanks again guys! Doug

    Air Hoses on unused cars.

    Hi Guys! I took these pictures of a few CN ballast hoppers on a siding near my house. I was wondering if anyone knows why the air hoses are not hooked up. I've noticed this on a few strings of cars on sidings and wasn't sure why this was done. Cheers! Doug
