Hey guys! Been a while since I've been on here. I recently purchased 2 of the brand new AEM-7s by Atlas, #s 902 and 926. These models were worth the 4 or so year long wait! I now have proper power for my Northeast Regional and Silver Star trains. I had to sacrifice my Superliners in order to buy these, but it was worth every penny. I've been more focused on Northeastern Amtrak trains for the most part and have grown rather bored of the Superliners.
I've noticed a few obvious improvements done on these units versus the ones from the first run. The blue is actually more accurate, the chassis aren't black, the detailing is better, and the addition of the Amtrak logos make these models look perfect.
