Pretty neat, I'd consider adding an aftermarket LED install kit using Ngineering Micro, or Nano LED's.

Charles, some nice looking things in your catalog, especially those signals and springy telegraph wire. I might have to try some of that. The only issue I have is with your chain link fence. It isn't cheap and doesn't appear to include a top rail, a vital part of a realistic chain link fence. Is this correct or just an oversight in the photo?

Jim, Your correct, my kit does not come with a top rail for a couple of reasons. First is keeping the cost down (I beg to differ with you on the cost of my kit. I beleive my kit is one of the least inexpensive fence kits on the market, and I wanted to keep it that way). Second is packaging, if I were to include the top rail I would have had to go to different packaging which would have increased the final cost. And third is that there are many chain link fence installation in the real world that do not use a top rail probaly due to cost also. If you really want to have a top rail all you need is some Evergreen round rod, cut to fit, paint and your done, simple as that.
Thanks for your inquiry.

Charlie, it's your company but take a look at http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3125. This item offers 80" of chain link fence with top posts, barbed wire posts, and enough material for two gates. Even at the regular price of $13.98, it's still less expensive than your kit per inch and it's on sale at $9.98. Very few industrial chain link fences don't use a top rail because the wire fabric is too heavy to stay upright without having a top rail attachment. There are some residential installations with light fence fabric that don't use top rails but I think most modelers are buying chain link fence kits for their industries. I installed more than a few chain link fences as a high school job so maybe I'm just more sensitive to how they look but I still think yours would stand out from the crowd if you did include a top rail.

Honestly, not to pick on the fence, its great & all, but... BMLA make a MUCH better chain link fence then Walthers. There's others also, but rarely a top rail. I need top rails. I NEED barbed wire!

Busch, Great West, Plastruct, Scale Structures, & Vollmer all have similar products. I prefer the etched styles myself. In any case, keep up the good work.
