Maybe some of us in mid & so. Fla. could get together in Dec. at the train show in Bradenton. Just a thought. If they have it. Alcomotive could tell us for sure. They use to have 2, 1 in Dec. & 1 in Jan.

Chris, They(SMRC) has it at the Palmetto Convention Center, usually the week before Christmas. That's on 301 just over the bridge from Bradenton.
If you get on the Model Railroader mag. Events listing you can keep up w/all of the shows & can usually get a discount coupon for each show.

The Sarasota Model Railroad Club presents 2 model train shows each year, in December again in February. The shows are usually the 2nd weekend in December and the 3rd weekend (Presidents Day Weekend) in February.
Our shows are a mix of more than 120 sales tables and layouts in several operating scales. All shows are held at the Manatee County Convention Center in Palmetto, Florida.

Back then it was at the Bradenton Convention Center in Bradenton by the Bay. Now, it's in Palmetto.
Maybe that wasn't the name of the convention center then, but that was about 10 years ago that it was held in Bradenton.

The 1st train show of the season for me is in Ft.Myers, then 2 in Palmetto & then the one in March in Plant City. I hope to be selling stuff in Ft.Myers this year, but if I don't make that 1, then I will try to get a spot in Palmetto or Plant City.
