I've been meaning to email you. Is there a way to create an "edit profile" link, so you could change the email you signed up with?

Yeah, that's on my short list of changes to make. There's actually a preferences reference on the navigation, but no link yet. I'll move that up to the top of my todo list, should have it this afternoon sometime.

Made an account and looked over it. Looks cool. But I think it would be better as a downloadable program, just to save you space and such.

Ok so I added an industry. I love how it tells you want kind of car to use.

I think with the industry, there should be a database of industries. Like user created ones. So people can kind of research what they want, or not have to add their own industry, if you know what I mean.

The install requirements would be obscene. Actually, I have plans to add more to it. I used to produce a software that was downloadable, and supporting 8 or 9 versions became real work. This way everyone has the latest software. As far as space, if you guys eat up 2 Gigabytes of bandwidth a month, I'll be rather surprised. I have game sites that don't do that much. :)

The only programming I do is in Java and PHP. Also the core of the system is the industry simulator, which wouldn't be as fun if people couldn't add their industries and have friends run freight to and from them. That was the basis of the idea originally. I added inventory after someone remarked on the need for computerized inventory.

I'm thinking of giving people the option to upload a pic of their rolling stock, maybe two pics, that way a pic of the prototype could be uploaded as well.

Photo would be nice, and then the photo could be emailed with the reminder, just to make it easier?

Hmm, that could work. I'll work on it this week. Have a deadline for a project on Friday, but maybe I can sneak it in there.
