Model Railroad Hobbyist e-magazine was fortunate enough to interview Microsoft employee's Rick Selby and Keith Thompson on video at the MSTS 2 Demo booth at the 2008 National Train Show in Anaheim, CA last weekend.

And yeah, that's me holding the mike.

Very interesting interview and ride. Enjoyed it. But...

Why haven't the graphics improved in the past 5-6 years? Scenery still "pops" into place, very unrealistically, changes appearance in "steps" as one approaches, and at least the online version did nothing to indicate any improvement in graphic resolution from years ago.

I have a wide screen monitor (1680x1050). Is MSTS able to take full advantage of that?

Tim,

Questions like that are best directed to Rick Selby and the MSTS II team at Microsoft. I believe you might find your answers, or the correct people to ask, at http://www.tsinsider.com/
