For sale, two ATSF modern boxcars.

The first is an Athearn 50' single plug door boxcar.
Modernized to remove the roofwalk, painted in the "Circle-Cross" scheme of the late 1960's. This car would be appropriate for any timeframe after 1966 or so, and some are still seen today. Upgrades include Atlas trucks and wheels, proper weighting, and Kadee couplers.

Two notes: I cut the trip pins on my couplers as I do not use magnets or ramps, and I like the looks. If you'd prefer couplers with pins I can provide those. Also, the car was lightly weathered with an airbrush prior to my acquiring it.

The second is an MDC 50' Hi-Cube double plug door boxcar.
This represents a car built in the late 1960s and painted also in the "Circle-Cross" scheme. Many of these are still in service today, and again they would be appropriate for any era from 1967 or so onwards. Upgrades include Kadee wheels and couplers, and proper weights.

One note: I cut the trip pins on my couplers as I do not use magnets or ramps, and I like the looks. If you'd prefer couplers with pins I can provide those.

I intend to eBay these soon. If anyone is interested in them in the meanwhile, I'm willing to part with them for $8 each or $15 for both, plus shipping.
