I Got No (G-scale) Peeps!!!

I can't enter the photo contest 'cause I don't have any PEOPLE for my layout! Well, to be honest, I don't really have a layout yet either, but I could fake it, couldn't I? I have a station, and a diner, and a house and a train, and some track, and a freight office, after all. :)

I remember that magnaes mentioned some time ago that Ridge Road Station is a good source for figures, and I agree, their products look very appealing! I've also surfed the 'net for people and animals, but find that a bit overwhelming, and it's hard to get a sense of the quality.

Do the rest of you have any recommendations for sources to populate a G-scale, American, rural, western outdoor layout?

Claudia, How about the Preiser web site. I can buy H.O. scale figures from them direct cheaper than a hobby shop or mailorder. I only buy the unpainted ones though.

;) AS if you have not been in trouble before :p . That is the one fun parts about this hobby is beoing in the dog house for buying train stuff. Glendia has gotten used to it and now she just goes and buys another of those Cherished Teddies. We now have two 42" X 84" curio cabinets to make sure her bears have a nice home and I have a 10.5' X 15' train room. :D :D :D

That is the one fun parts about this hobby is beoing in the dog house for buying train stuff. Boy OH! Boy, yuh mean it's gonna be fun, snagged two C44-9W's last night on ebay and now looking at two SD40-2's and a GP38, move over dog! any idea of how long I'll have to play Fido? :D

Lady Railfan when model bob list my ebay items check my store out have 3 cars 1/24 scale (i believe g scale ) and if you look I'm willing to take offers on the price. for a tease hers one for you to see If you need exact mesurements let me know or anybody else.

Just notice the seats are not purple there tan its my camera lol
