Hi there,
I'm just getting into HOn3 - On30 was far too big for the space I have, and am putting together a fleet of passenger and freight cars for a future multi-level layout depicting the South Park line of the Colorado and Southern. At the moment I have some Grandt Line gons, box and a caboose on their way as well as a couple of LaBelle coaches to kitbash into South Park prototypes but I'm stumped as to what locos are available.
I would ideally like a model of #22 in its final years as it is one of my favourites and some consolidations for freight traffic. Are there any ready to run or kit built models readily available?

Quite different! Although that is a nice model and may do if I can't find anything else! Thanks for the link.

I'm not sure where to find the model you are after, but let me say, you picked a COOL prototype!

Have you considered Sn3, there is lots of Colorado narrow gauge equipment available. HO models can be converted easily:

An HO Roundhouse mogul into Nevada County Narrow Gauge #2 style mogul.
P-B-L has a new K-27 coming out that is in the $450 dollar range

They have really great cars and track. There are no turnouts currently available in HOn3.
S scale is the perfect size for narrow gauge.

Harold, are sure about no switches being available for HOn3? I know Shinohara makes some and they are shown for sale at http://www.fshobby.com/shinohara1.html.
Mark, the best place to check for HOn3 items is Narrow Gauge Colorado at http://narrowgaugecolorado.com/?name=Home. These guys are the real specialists in everything you're going to find in narrow gauge. I know there are brass C&S engines available and they are making a line of D&RGW engines that will be available next year that should be adaptable to some kitbashing for the C&S. As I'm sure you already know, be prepared to bring a big wallet and some scratchbuilding and kitbashing skills if you want to go narrow gauge. :)

Those are the dual gauge ones. Walthers and most places list the regulars as none existent.

I'm in the UK and S Scale isn't really big around here! I've no idea what size it is or anything! What is the track gauge for Sn3? I suspect its not much smaller than O, but I may be wrong.
