In parallel with Buddy-NScnotp's thread on railroad slogans on RailroadForum, how about model railroad slogans,? Throw in gauge and era if you like. Here's my pitch:

Grizzly Northern Railway-"The Running Bear Route", late 30's/early 40's steam era, CPR subsidiary, western Canada, HO.

Reporting Marks "GNR"

Ours is the Ferns & Cycads Terrace Railway. Or Frank's & Claudia's Trials and Re-dos as the case may be. We haven't come up with a slogan (that's printable) yet.

Does the Willamette & Pacific/Portland & Western (or the G&W for that matter) have a slogan?

Yes... PNWR is "The Road That Runs", taken from "The City That Works", Portland's motto. It was used on PNWR ETT#1. It is not, however, on the current (System #3) ETT.

Also, there is still a W&P caboose on the loose (heh) with a ripoff of UP's slogan:
"Be Specific, Ship Willamette & Pacific"
