I think your description "Awesome" is very apt in this case. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL models--even though I'm in HO scale, I can see why O scale is still called the "King." Exqusite craftsmanship. I was especially taken by the H-8 Allegheny (and it's a pre-production model, of all things!). We're talking MASSIVE here, folks.

I was once castigated by a fellow modeler on the 'other' forum because of my love for big articulateds--he wanted to know why I ran so MANY. My answer was: "Because I WANT to."
