Well, I got the rockwork done for the most part !!! I then put down the roadbed. Now I'm getting the track down

*LR stares in awe at the work of the master* I can see immediately that I'm much too stingy with my roadbed material (it's not on a footing). That lesson alone will probably save me hours of frustration later on. I expect we'll see your layout as a Garden Railways centerfold one day!

Oh! If only!!! I'm still fussing about how to run the wiring for the switches and lights! Of course, it's a lot cooler here at the beach than it is in NV. Maybe I could bribe him!!

I tried a couple yearsa ago to get the GR mag to use one of my RR photos.. I got brushed off, was told they only use finished RR's..
True, I have no buildings, and not all the switches are built and in place, But I do have some nice Photo spots..
Is a Garden Railroad ever finished..
Oh well, their loss not mine,.

Is a Garden Railroad ever finished.. I hope not! Think how boring life would be with nothing to noodle about in the wee small hours.

I showed this to my wife, explaining that this is why I want a backyard. She just smiled...
(HO is probably enough for the moment...)
