For many years I went every year, but now I just go to the ones where I don't have to walk a mile to get to the front door or wait in a line about 2 miles long & have to pay to get in the door, plus pay for parking. Then if you don't get there early enough it's so packed you can't get any closer than 6 ft. from anyones table unless you just charge thru the crowd & hope no one busts you in the head. I guess you can say, "I'm Not Going".
Sorry I didn't make the Palmetto show, but hurt my back the nite before.
I was hoping they were going to have another show there in Jan. like they always do, but it's not on the events schedule on the MRR mag. web site. I emailed them today & asked.
There's still going to be 1 in Plant City in March which I hope to make.

Well the next one for Palmetto will be Presidents Day weekend in Feb....just a heads up!

Great, thought they (SMRC) had forgot to run another one.
I'll have to make that 1 for sure & when I do, we will have to meet & plan some railfanning someplace over there in your neck of the woods.

Have U ever been to the Lake Wales show? It's usually a dud, but this will be their 10th year. Maybe things have changed. Never much of a turnout.

Nope never been to that one. I did go to one in Ft Meyers for NMRA convention which was way cool.
