Well today was a good start for me at the Polar Express! I manages to acquire a few "new" used and some weathered rolling stock. Along with an o'l BB Athearn CSX #6338 GP40-2 which was a ex-B&O (proto type info) that I already canabalized this evening and the chassis and prime mover is now installed in to my EMD leasing unit #769 GP38-2. :D I have not decided what to do with the "shell body" may end up in the scrap yard.
My rolling stock all came with kadees and only 4 out of 9 came with metal wheels. Not bad. 2 were weathered very nicely. Here what I got.
40 ft box Timken R.B.X. 82 (old BB Athearn)
40 ft box Timken R.B.X. 88 (old BB Athearn)
40 ft box Horizantal Rib Box Car Milwaukee #8400 (Roundhouse)
50 ft box Plug Door Union Pacific "Automated" #498167 (Roundhouse)
50 ft box AFC Box Car Milwaukee (Yellow) #50309 (Athearn Bev-Bel)
50 ft box Dbl Door Box Car Norfolk & Southern (Grey) #1311
Wide Vision Caboose Union Pacific #29505 "Everyone Gains Where Courtesy Reigns" (BB Athearn)
50 ft AFC Box Car Marinette, Tomahawk & Western Railroad Company #4206 (Bev-Bel Kit 539) I really like this one...I remember there was a thread on this company about 6 months ago.
60 ft Bulk Head Car Union Pacific #215645 (Athearn?) Came with a real nicely done pipe load and weathering job. A real beaut!:p
So I go back tomorrow... :p :D

I then ran on the club modular layout for a bit.
Now there is a Train show at the Tampa Fair Grounds this coming weekend. dec 15th and Dec 16th. I may go to

Another real good show to make every year in November is the Ft.Myers show downtown at the Hotel on main street. I know it's past, but just a reminder for next year. LOL
