WOW! What a close race. I found it hard to decide between the 2 downtown cityscapes. I chose the one with the more train action in it. Both are very could looking but I want to see trains.

Downtown is my clear choice, Back Side did not have a backdrop as far as I could tell, and I really don't care for images that have been manipulated. Manipulation is adding smoke, backdrops, changing the modeling scene from what it is to something it is not. Just my 2 cents.

Back Side did not have a backdrop as far as I could tell,You are correct, that is just an isle on the other side, hence the comment "the world drops of sharp just outside of town". There is a clear plexiglass pane there that keeps spectator's fingers out. Upon looking at the posted photo the focus isn't clear on the locomotive drivers. I didn't notice that before. I don't know if that is in the original or just because I shrunk it to a more friendly size. There is also some digital "haze", which I assume is due to the re-sizing.

Since it is a Colorado layout, I can always hold out hope that one day, I'll get to see it up close and personal!
