Bob,
Your photo section is simply wonderful! The reason I like it so well is that you allow for pretty large images and I love the detail rich content. The organization is also top rate.

But, here is where I'd love to see some more thinking. Every time I look at a picture, I have to pull my browser back to the picture to center the pic. Going from one to the next is 3-4 mouse actions. Annoying, especially when the pictures are some of the very BEST model railroad pictures on the web!

The cause is the placement of advertising. I know revenue is important, but I do wish it could be less intrusive when I look at the wonderful pictures.

Now I know that web sites like this cost money, really I do and I don't want to harm a wonderful site. But I raise the issue in hopes that a win-win might be forth coming.

I do love the site and your pictures!

it IS annoying, but I like it a whole heck of allot more then that other popular site that resizes your window, I run wide screen to just about everything there makes it TINY...

I guess I'm not following what you mean by pulling it back to the picture? Do you mean scrolling down?

Also, have you tried the slideshow option?

Yes, the scrolling down if you want to see anything more than about 1=2" of the picture. And you have to reset the scroll for the next picture, etc.

Now, to be fair, I had tried the slide show a month or two ago and found it even more frustrating as the pictures would slide by on the bottom. So I thought I would retry it just now and WOW! It works exactly like I would hope! SO, now I can cruise through your pictures like the Acella going from NY to DC!
