I wonder why there were so few voters this time? 50% less than last month!
I thought a few things about the voting was surprising. I thought "Your Caboose or Mine" would do a lot better. It is technically a good photo with lots of field depth, it was a good caboose, right on the theme, and cute to boot (or is that cute to boose?). I really can't belive "the end" didn't get any votes. Eventhough it is technically fuzzy, the caboose itself was interesting, and carried multiple levels of meaning for the theme. I'm almost afraid to even venture a guess as to why "A caboose as god..." got zero votes. It looks fuzzy in the thumbnail but when expanded isn't. It is a fairly crisp shot. Are people just tired of wedgie train pictures? That seems to be true in some of the prototype photo contest comments. Anyone else have any insights?
I think "SP Cabeese Line", "protecting the main", and mine "lucky 13" would have done better if we would have lowered the angle of the shot so they would have looked less "air planey".
Or is this all just because there were so few voters..... Is there any way the form software will let us vote for 1st, 2nd, and 3d with progressively fewer points for each one? Then the winner would be most points over all?

The average number of votes over the last 11 months is 30, so this month is not far off the average. The lowest month was 16, and last month was the high with 50. I wouldn't mind if it was possible to vote for first, second, and third place. (as long as second and third place coiuld have some "braging rights" too)

The voting is fair enough I think It's just that more people should vote . It's just a simple click to cast a ballot but not enough people seem to care to.

The voting is fair enough I think It's just that more people should vote. I wasn't contending it wasn't fair, just not enough votes to make it statistically significant. And this section is confusing, to use.
