Last of the '400' units

Well the end is almost here for the last 'Route of the 400' units on the MadCow Route. The railroad has put the last two remaining units together for their 'farewell' tour of the system.

Here, GP-7 1519 leads the switcher 1281 eastbound through the Ablemann quarry.

And about 15 minutes later, I caught the 1755 leading the ex-commuter F7's toward Madison.

I'ts carved extruded styrofoam. Done with a steak knife. Well done, if you excuse the pun;) .
