View Full Version : Swithching layouts??????

Hello guys and gals,
I have a little space in my room or somewhere else for a layout. Maybe 20, 30 or 40 sq feet, guesstimating :p . As you know, I have never made a layout before. So I was wondering if a N Scale switching layout would be right for me? Any opinions are appreciated.

Chris,

Is switching what you want to do? If it is, go for it. I would
say that if you get hooked, you will want to expand the layout. ;)

The great thing about Normal Scale is you can get more track run between industries then in HO or other larger scales. Many people have made pretty nice switching layouts in a 2 X 4 space.
