Anyone using the Digitrax BD4?

I'm thinking of using these to illuminate LED's for hidden staging yard occupancy. Each unit will detect 4 tracks. They seem to be priced right at $29 retail. I can probably get them for about $22 each. I'd love to hear some comments from other users. Any BD4 users out there?

Well I already have the photo cells installed, just have to mount the light sources, not a big job, then build the detector, guess I'll stick with the origonal plan.
