There are a couple of ways to find them. The easiest way is to click on "New Posts" at the top of the page. That shows you all threads that have new posts since your last visit to the forum. You need to have "cookies" enabled for this to work, though.

If you visit but only look at some posts before you leave, you can use the "Active Topics" link, also at the top of the page. That gives you several options where you can see threads that have new posts from as long as a month ago.

A couple more comments...

1) "New Posts" will only work if you're a logged in member. If you aren't logged in, it doesn't know who you are, and so it can't tell what you've already seen and what you haven't. So if you're one of our many visitors who read without logging in, "new posts" won't show any new posts.

2) I alway use "active topics" at least once a day. "New Posts" seems to miss some, what really happens is that I don't get to them all when I visit. Once you leave, they're no longer consider "new", even if you never look at them.

So I suggest using both "new posts" and "active topics" to see the current discussions.

I had been using the main index page and " QUICK LINKS" drop down to Today's Active Threads so I can see where I may have missed a few topics although I'm on most every day. The options available in the drop down menu of the ACTIVE TOPICS pretty well cover everything for me so that's what I'll be using from now on, So my thanks to Lady Railfan and modelbob for the heads up.
Cheers Willis
