Posted on a Yahoo list by Rob Scrimgeour, here are links to a couple of interesting photos:

CPR intermodal train, with a few autoracks, and just one
locomotive. The area is near Bolton, Ontario.

Note how nicely the second one would adopt to a corner of the room. (As long as the room was the size of a gymnasium...)

Those shots do remind me of a few N scale layouts I have seen at train shows. I just loved the way those long trains would snake around the curves and hills.

Hmm. I guess these would have to work for HO?

Man that is some link to the maps. LOL I have enough problems now without trying to put something like that in a corner. Quite an idea for some ambitious person though. tried the maps to see if I could find my place and there it was and by scrolling along the highways I came to my daughters place. This is the link to my area, my house is the one with the white roof, LOL you can even see the white Olds parked alongside the house using the full magnification.
