Active topics/new posts

I've combined the "active topics" and "new posts" menu items and added some new options.

Let me know what you think. Love it, hate it? Want other options? ("Last 2 days, 12 hours, 37 minutes and 17 seconds"?)

You idiot! If you do it that way, you've got to use the pull down menu, where the old way you only had to click, rather than pull it down and then click! You've made it harder!

I can tell you now I'll love it. It'll cut bumping posts by at least half. One more thing I noticed (that this may help end) Other than Moderators, when most members who's posted threads remain at 0 replys, they stop posting, seems the only ones who keep posting after being ignored are myself and Bob :D at least that's the two names that cropped up the most with 0 replys to their topics.

After having explored a site, I'll usually use the 'Active Topics' key.
A pull down box for 'Since last logoff', 'Last 2 days', 'Last week', ...
It would be handy to be able to fine tune what is considered "Active" by the user, especially when someone has been away for a while.

Ken has a great idea with the "Since last logoff". Sometimes I'm on twice a day, sometimes twice a week.

We already have that, it's called "New Posts"... That lists posts that are new since the last time you logged in, whether that's 2 minutes or 2 months. It only works for logged in members of course, but if you log in it will show you any messages posted since you were last here.
