Has anyone ever used this website to buy product?

If so what was your experience? I have found an item I want but I am a little skeptical when it comes to this. I tried ordering from a website before for a train product, I even entered my credit card number, only to find out that the company was no longer in business. I tried the phone number to see if it was legit and all I got was a fax machine.
I've never dealt with them myself but I know friends who have, and heard only good reports.

I give them 2 thumbs up. Fast, reliable, good service. I order all my HO stuff from them. (Shipped to the UK)

Thank you for your responses. I just got off the phone with Harold after placing my order with them. He was very nice and a quick response from the company as a whole. As long as my engine comes in as expected, they will have earned my business.

I ordered from them in years past but their prices are really high. About the only thing that I will order from them are their limited run Intermountain cars.

Well, first post here, been silently reading for a while. Just wanted to share my experience with PWRS. I have been buying from them for a while now. It is true their prices are not always the best, but they do have good sales, you just have to check every so often. I love the "goodie box" they have for you, where you can order things and keep them there, until you get to $200, then ship for a flat rate of $10-$12. They are great to work with and their custom stuff is great.

Ditto - very friendly people on the phone, advanced technology-driven site, but at the high end of the price scale on almost everything I've ever shopped for. Plus, the advance orders often get delayed; I recently cancelled an order for grain hoppers I had been waiting over a year for - way over a year.

Yeah, they will keep orders alive as long as they think there is ANY chance they can get it. I have a set of SOO coal hoppers that is out of stock everywhere, but they haven't canceled the order yet.

Yes their prices are at the high end of the market, but the secret is to get on the mailing list and browse through the never ending sale items for a bargain or 12.
