September 2004 Photo Assignment
The Topic is: The Wonderful World of Color
In just about any train or any area of railroading you'll find certain locomotives, box cars, containers or railroad structures that are just so colorful they make your photograph really come to life.
That's what we want to see this month, Bright Wonderful Color !!
Now get on out and capture that Colorful side of railroading.
Remember, the September Assignment entry must be a current photo taken only in the month of August 2004 or September of 2004.

September 2004 Photo of the Month
The Topic is: UNLUCKIEST SHOT
We’ve all had them, the perfect light, perfect setup and some foamer jumps into the shot at the last second. Or you think you’ve got a winner, only to discover the telephone poll that you never saw is right in front or growing out of the loco. This month we want to see your “worst” shots. Not the bad exposure out of focus ones, but the ones where the composition just didn’t turn out like you expected. Extra points if it’s funny. This is why you should never get rid of a “bad” picture.

Since we went with lots of color for last month’s assignment (and next month’s will involve color. Three guesses and the first two don’t count), this month we’re going to feature no color. Scout around and find those shots that only improve with no color.

Locate and Click on the "Upload Photos" Link
Select the Proper Contest Category
IE: * Photo Contest for Current Month

IE: * Model RR Contest for Current Month
Fill in ALL the Fields and Submit Your Entry

Another Way is to:
Go to the Photo Gallery Section
Scan Down to the Photo Contest Section
Select the Proper Contest Category
( Be Sure to Read the Photo Guidelines Link First !! )
Click on "Upload Photos
( You are now automatically in the Proper Contest Area )
Fill in ALL the Fields and Submit Your Entry
